OREANDA-NEWS. August 11, 2011. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company paid a compensation for two insurance events in amount of 3,322 million rubles to Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rosmorport, which ensures the navigation safety of the water areas of the seaports of the Russian Federation, as well as of the approaches to them.

On February 8, 2011, during the mooring of the motor ship in the southeastern cargo port of Novorossiysk, the pier was damaged. As a result of the collision, some design elements of the pier were damaged to varying degrees.

On April 5, 2011, as a result of the storm wind along with the movement of ice fields in

the Azov Sea, the buoys that had been on the balance of the Taganrog branch of Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rosmorport were lost and damaged.

Ingosstrakh Insurance Company and Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rosmorport have been successfully cooperating since 2010. As of today, the Company insured the client's property located in 16 regions of Russia. The total insured amount under the contracts with Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rosmorport is more than 39 billion rubles.

Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has settled various insurance claims and paid compensation amounting to over 12 million rubles to the client. One of the major payments was made in September 2010. It was a compensation for the pier that had been damaged by a ship during the storm, the amount of indemnity was 2.9 million rubles.
