OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus does not agree with certain conditions of the allocation of a USD 440 million tranche by the Eurasian Economic Community’s (EurAsEC) anti-crisis fund, Nadezhda Yermakova, chairwoman of Belarus’ Central Bank, said.

“We do not agree with certain points voiced at the EurAsEC expert council, and not everyone on the council approves them either,” Yermakova said.

The regulator’s head said that the council has not made a final decision on the allocation of the tranche so far. Yermakova hopes that the funds will be allocated to the country in April.

Hit by a financial crisis in 2011, Minsk agreed on a USD 3 billion stabilization loan from EurAsEC’s fund in several tranches from 2011 to 2013. The fund has already provided one USD 800 million and three USD 440 million tranches of the bailout to the country.
