OREANDA-NEWS. February 21, 2014. Sviaz-Bank’s branch in Ufa, Bashkortostan, has entered into cooperation with the Bashkirian Power Network Company, OJSC (BPNC OJSC), the biggest power industry operator in Bashkortostan, to help the company invest its uncommitted funds.

BPNC OJSC is a big regional power network company in Russia that owns major 0.4 to 500kV transmission and distribution power lines and dominates the power transmission market in the Republic of Bashkortostan. The company transmits electric power between the country’s central areas and the Ural region, delivers electric power across Bashkortostan, and distributes it to end users through its two subsidiaries – Bashkirenergo LLC and Bashkirian Network Company, LLC.

“The power generation and transmission industry has a long history of cooperation with Sviaz-Bank. We are happy to announce the start of cooperation with yet another leader in the Russian electric power industry, and we see broad prospects for joint projects with it ahead,” said Andrei Lygin, the branch manager.
