OREANDA-NEWS. KEGOC became the winner of Senim 2014 national contest in the "Best National Corporate Employer" nomination.

Today, during the awards ceremony, held at the IX International Conference on Human Resource Management: Role of HR in Change Management, Ms Elena Bakhmutova, the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna, handed a special prize and diploma of the winner to Mr Zhanabay Beksary, Deputy Chairman of Management Board of KEGOC for Corporate Governance.

According to the organizers, the best employer nominees were assessed based on their performance in terms of personnel policy, labour relations and professional development.

Commenting on the event Mr Beksary noted that the high score of KEGOC, as the best employer, is the result of effective social policies, efforts to improve working conditions and increase employee satisfaction.

In 2013, in Senim 2012 contest KEGOC was awarded 2nd degree diplomas in the "Best National Corporate Employer" and "Best HR-project" nominations.

KEGOC acts as the System Operator of the Unified Power System (UPS) of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The company operates as the natural monopoly. It has 24.5 thousand km of 35-1150 kV electricity transmission lines and 76 electrical substations with 35.9 GVA of installed transformer capacity. These lines and susbstarions form the national power grid (NPG). The company employs more than four thousand people.
