OREANDA-NEWS. CROC launches Russia's first Dell Solution Center to showcase brand new systems.

"The IT infrastructure of any organization is a complicated combination of hardware and software components and their harmonious operation is key to overall business success. Unfortunately, tests and pilot deployments require both customer and systems integrator resources and it is impossible to know whether they will result in a full-fledged project. CROC's new Dell Solution Center enables customers to examine the most innovative products and solutions, simulate infrastructure that best suits their business needs and-most importantly-avoid unnecessary expenses related to the deployment of computing facilities," says Alexander Khludenev, Deputy Director General for Prospective Business Development, CROC.

"In recent years, Dell has evolved from a pure PC manufacturer into a supplier of integrated IT solutions based on cutting-edge hardware and software. Today, Dell's strategy is focused on the development of innovative technology, the provision of high-grade IT services, 24x7 customer support, and the development of partnerships with key players in the global and Russian IT markets. This is why this joint launch of the Solution Center with our long-standing partner and reputable market player is an important strategic development," says Boris Scherbakov, Director General, Dell Russia.

Cloud computing, solutions for remote offices and branches, virtual desktops, corporate information protection, business application troubleshooting and optimization, versatile data storage systems, and data management solutions presented at the Solution Center are highly demanded today by various businesses.

"Our Solution Center showcases the most innovative Dell systems such as the VRTX mini datacenter (datacenter in a box). This compact, quiet product, which can even be installed under an office table and plugged into a wall outlet, provides huge internal space for data storage and is the perfect choice for companies and branches with up to 200 employees. The new Active System-an integrated set of servers, a data storage system, network devices, and special-purpose software-is designed for larger enterprises. The system will be delivered to customers already assembled and configured for specific tasks such as desktop virtualization, access management or performance troubleshooting,” notes Natalia Sofronova, Director of CROC's Dell Solution Center.

CROC is one of Dell's key partners. Since we began working together in 2004, CROC has completed over 400 Dell-based projects. In 2011, CROC was awarded with the highest possible 'Preferred Partner and Storage Competency' qualification status in recognition of our deep competency, vast expertise, provision of certified specialists, and multiple successful projects. In addition, based on 2013 results, CROC was named the "Best Partner for Building Data Centers on Dell Platforms."
