The largest share of newly issued credits in the national currency in June 2014 was represented by loans issued to legal entities (80.7% from the total volume of credits in lei), which were issued at an average interest rate of 9.51% (10,77% a month before), while the average interest rate on loans in lei granted to individuals amounted to 12,22% (12,25% the previous month).
