OREANDA-NEWS. Within the project on expansion of the functionality of Diasoft FA# Treasury platform, the Bank of Moscow has introduced Diasoft FA# Treasury module (Depositary) into commercial operation.

The purpose of Increasing Operational Efficiency global general banking project was to introduce automated solutions for complex industrial depository accounting on a single platform with the existing back-office system as soon as possible.

The project on introduction of Diasoft FA # Treasury module (Depositary) was launched in March, 2014. The main objectives of the project were to improve the quality of depository services provided to various categories of clients and to create new opportunities for improving the competitiveness of the Bank's Depositary. The successful introduction of Diasoft FA# Treasury module (Depositary) will allow the bank to avoid excessive functional integration of depository and back-office systems (reconciliation, discharge information) in its further work, as well as reduce the costs of development and maintenance.

Commenting the results of the project, Tatiana Miruk, the Vice President, the Director of Operations Department of the Bank of Moscow, said: "The project on introduction of Diasoft FA# Treasury module (Depositary) has become one of the most important over the past year. We had a goal to introduce the module into operation in early 2015. This goal was achieved thanks to the high professionalism of project participants and well-organized work."
