OREANDA-NEWS. The Board of the National Bank took decision to revoke, beginning on May 8, 2015, special permission (license) for banking from "InterPayBank" Joint Stock Company (hereinafter – JSC "InterPayBank").

The above-mentioned decision has been taken due to the fact that JSC "InterPayBank" failed to comply with licensing requirements for the amount of the bank’s regulatory capital, lack of clear prospects for build-up thereof, and failure to meet other licensing requirements set out in the Banking Code of the Republic of Belarus which may pose a threat to the interests of depositors and other creditors of the bank.

JSC "InterPayBank" is ranking 28th in the banking system of the Republic of Belarus in terms of assets. The share of the bank’s assets in the banking system is not substantial and accounted for 0.05% as of May 1, 2015. The amount of funds attracted to the current (settlement) accounts held by natural persons is insignificant and stood at BYR25.0 million in equivalent as of May 1, 2015. There are no natural persons’ funds attracted to deposits.
