Cadillac Recalls 321 Cars in Russia

OREANDA-NEWS. Cadillac's official representative in Russia - GM Auto LLC - recalls 321 Cadillac XT5 cars. On these vehicles sold from 2017 to 2019, Rosstandart said in a statement.
"The reason for the recall of vehicles is the loudspeaker bracket of the emergency call system ERA GLONASS, as well as individual fastening elements of the bracket and the loudspeaker itself, which are located in the possible touch zone by the knee model and do not meet the requirements for the minimum radius of rounding", said Rosstandart.
On vehicles, the brackets and fasteners of the loudspeaker of the ERA-GLONASS emergency operations call system will be replaced. Rosstandart noted that all work will be carried out free of charge for owners.
Authorized representatives of the car dealership will notify all owners of the recalled cars of the need to visit the nearest dealership, where the bracket and fastener of the ERA-GLONASS loudspeaker will be replaced. The costs of the service campaign will be borne by the automaker.
