Putinka vodka was invented in 2003 by marketer Stanislav Kaufman. For a long time, it was bottled at the facilities of the Moscow Kristall plant. In 2015, when the brand was at its peak of popularity, its share in the structure of in-kind sales reached 2.74 percent. However, further sales began to fall, until they stopped completely.
Andrey Moskovsky, President of the Alcopro Guild, noted that since 2020, Kristall has almost completely disappeared from the market, and its facilities remain unclaimed.
