OREANDA-NEWS   The United States will no longer be able to prevent the completion of Nord Stream 2, even in the event of a break in relations with Germany, as suggested by the Ukrainian deputy Oleg Voloshyn. This was stated by Igor Yushkov, a leading analyst at the National Energy Security Fund, in an interview with RT.

"The project is actually completed, that is, it is remained to lay a few kilometers", - the expert noted.

According to him, the only thing that the United States could do is to ban the gas pipeline from being put into operation using "some loopholes". However, this will not affect Russia but Germany.

"Biden chose good relations with the Europeans", - Yushkov stressed.

According to the expert, the American leader approached the situation rationally.

Earlier Voloshyn said that only "a colossal rupture of relations between the United States and Germany" could stop the construction of Nord Stream 2.
