The Greenfield manufacturer said it regularly checks tea for pesticides

OREANDA-NEWS The Orimi Group of companies, which produces tea under the Greenfield, Tess and Princess Nuri brands, assured that it regularly checks the raw materials for its products for pesticides, and this year no such violations were detected in its tea presented on the Russian market. This was reported to RIA Novosti by the company.
The Izvestia newspaper reported at night, citing data from the Unified Register of Inspections conducted by Rospotrebnadzor and Rosselkhoznadzor, that more than 111 tons of tea with pesticides had been detected in Russia since the beginning of the year. The Orimi group was also named among the "guilty" manufacturers. However, the publication later clarified that the supervisory authorities had only issued a warning to her after statements by the Moldovan authorities about the detection of pesticides in Tess and Princess Nuri tea imported last year.
"In 2025, the finished tea products of Orimi Group, presented on the Russian market, did not exceed the standards for the residual content of pesticides," the company said.
