OREANDA-NEWS  Since the beginning of the year, the Russian catch of aquatic biological resources has amounted to more than 3 million tons, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation reported.

"According to the data of the Rosrybolovstvo industry monitoring system (CSMS), the extraction of aquatic biological resources by all Russian users amounted to 3088.1 thousand tons," the report says.

It is specified that in the Far Eastern basin, the catch volume amounted to almost 2.4 million tons (+18.5 thousand tons compared to the level of 2024), the Northern Basin - 222.9 thousand tons, the Western basin - 52.2 thousand tons, the Azov-Black Sea basin - 28.1 thousand tons (+8.6 thousand tons), the Volga-Caspian basin - 49.9 thousand tons (+1.6 thousand tons).
