OREANDA-NEWS.  Moody's Investors Service international rating agency has certified the rating of Kazakhstan’s international oil and gas company “KazMunaiGas” and its subsidiary structure on the level of “Baa3”, forecast – negative.

As informed the rating agency Moody’s left ratings of four Kazakhstani issuers of oil-and-gas field unaltered, namely: JSC «NC «KazMunaiGas», JSC “KazTransGas”, “Intergas Central Asia” and JSC “KazTransOil”. They report that this procedure shall terminate the examination of ratings started on January 22 this year. “When we decided on certification of the rating of “KazMunaiGas” and its subsidiary structure we considered state support for the group of companies provided in 2015. It allowed reducing the debt and we believe that the government will continue supporting which shall allow the said group of companies maintaining indexes of competitiveness according to current rating” – noted Denis Perevezentsev, Vice-President of Moody’s.

It was reported that on January 22 Moody’s included ratings of 32 oil and oil-service companies of EMEA region for revision with possible lowering, including the rating of “KazMunaiGas”, KazMunaiGaz Finance Sub B.V., “Intergas Central Asia”, Intergas Finance B.V., “KazTransGas”, “KazTransOil”, Nostrum Oil & Gas Plc, “Zhaikmunai”.
