OREANDA-NEWS  The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has started supplying Azerbaijani natural gas to Austria and Germany, SOCAR told RIA Novosti.

"By selling significant volumes of gas in the markets of Southern and Central Europe through the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), the European segment of the Southern Gas Corridor, we have launched a new important stage in gas exports from Azerbaijan. Since January 2026, Azerbaijani gas, along with other countries, has been supplied to customers from Austria and Germany," the company said.

According to local media, deliveries to Austria and Germany are carried out through Italy. The number of importing countries of Azerbaijani gas has reached 16.
