OREANDA-NEWS Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, predicted a complete energy collapse in the European Union.

"This is the dawn of a new era - the era of a complete energy collapse and bankruptcy of Europe due to the idiotic decisions of Ursula (von der Leyen, President of the European Commission) Kaya (Callas, the head of European diplomacy) and other Russophobes," Dmitriev wrote on the social network X.

"By rejecting Russian energy sources, the EU has shot itself in the foot so many times that not a single leg is left," the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund added.
