OREANDA-NEWS  In August, oil companies received payments from the Russian budget under the fuel damper mechanism in the amount of 80.4 billion rubles, compared with 59.9 billion in July, according to data from the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.

The corresponding payments for the whole of last year amounted to 1.815 trillion rubles, an increase of 14.3% compared to 2023. Since the beginning of this year, the business has received a total of 642.5 billion rubles.
