OREANDA-NEWS. The capital of Ukraine can be completely left without gas due to the fact that Kyivgaz company has not signed a contract for the transportation of fuel with LLC Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine (TSO UA). This was reported by the press service of the latter.

TSO UA clamed that Kyivgaz has sabotaged the conclusion of an agreement for more than two months. The operator claims that it sent the enterprise a draft contract in December 2019, but in response received an edited version of it with a protocol of disagreements that “create discriminatory conditions in relation to other market participants.”

As of March 6, Kyivgaz is the only of 44 gas distribution network operators that has not concluded an agreement, the report says. TSO UA appealed to the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities of Ukraine and demanded to check whether Kyivgaz complies with the licensing conditions.
