OREANDA-NEWS Russian President Vladimir Putin has changed the composition of the Security Council. This follows from the text of the decree published on the official portal of legal information.

The document says that Igor Rudenya, the presidential envoy to the North-Western Federal District, is included in the Security Council. In addition, former Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov, who took over the post of head of the Supreme Court, was expelled from the Security Council.

"This decree comes into force from the date of its signing," the document says.

Earlier it was reported that Putin appointed the head of the new department of his administration — Vadim Titov received the post of head of the presidential Department for Strategic Partnership and Cooperation.
