OREANDA-NEWS  The plan to export Russian oil from western ports has been increased by 200,000 barrels per day, to two million barrels, after drone attacks disrupted the operation of several oil refineries. This is reported by Reuters with reference to sources.

However, they estimate that expectations remain uncertain due to ongoing attacks that could worsen the recycling situation and delays in repairs.

One of the interlocutors noted that the situation is changing every day, so it is still unclear how much Russian companies will be able to ship raw materials.

According to the newspaper, the problems have arisen at a time when the authorities are looking for ways to increase revenues from the sale of oil and petroleum products. According to experts, strikes on refineries affected 17 percent of refining capacity.

Another problem was the drone attack on the infrastructure of the Druzhba oil pipeline, which stopped the pumping of raw materials entering Hungary and Slovakia, as well as transit to the port of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad region for at least five days. Thus, the plans for the growth of crude oil exports may also be hindered by problems with its delivery to the port.
