OREANDA-NEWS The Druzhba oil pipeline has been removed from UK sanctions until October 14, 2027. This is stated in the general license, which is published on the website of the Office for the Implementation of Financial Sanctions of the United Kingdom (OFSI).
Prior to that, it became known that London had expanded the list of anti-Russian sanctions by 297 positions. This list includes 240 companies and organizations, 7 individuals and 50 vessels. Most of them are located outside of Russia. In particular, 142 companies are registered in the UAE, 39 in China, 3 in Thailand, and 2 in India. In addition, the restrictions extended to two Georgian TV channels — Imedi TV and POSTV — and a company from Poland.
In addition, nine Russian banks were sanctioned — Avers Bank, Tochka Bank, Post Bank, Fora Bank, Ak Bars, Lanta Bank, Sinara Bank, Absolut Bank, Transcapitalbank.
It is also known that Hungary and Slovakia decided to import Russian oil by sea, taking advantage of an exception to EU sanctions, while supplies via the Druzhba oil pipeline stopped due to the actions of the Ukrainian side.
