OREANDA-NEWS  The authorities of the Trans-Baikal Territory have asked the Russian government to speed up the supply of gasoline from oil refineries to the region Krasnoyarsk Territory and Irkutsk region. This is reported by Kommersant with reference to the regional Ministry of Economic Development.

A letter signed by Governor Alexander Osipov was sent to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. It says that the main problem was not the very availability of gasoline from suppliers, but delays in the transportation of already purchased shipments.

According to officials, the regional authorities are making efforts to resolve the situation, but "additional assistance is needed in this direction."

At the end of November, it became known that some gas stations in the region began to impose restrictions on the sale of fuel in one hand, while others raised prices. Then representatives of the gas station networks indicated that they were faced with a halt in fuel shipments from the refinery. It was not possible to get even the purchased batches, first of all it was about gasoline.

At that time, similar problems were encountered in other Siberian and Ural regions. For example, they talked about stopping shipments from refineries in the Chelyabinsk region, noting that they could not get suppliers to correct the situation. At that time, the regional government also attributed temporary difficulties to logistics.

Experts say one of the main reasons for the fuel crisis in late summer and autumn 2025 is a reduction in refining volumes due to a large number of unscheduled repairs at refineries, which is associated with drone strikes.
