Almost a ton of cocaine among bananas in a Russian port caught on video

OREANDA-NEWS Russian customs officers, together with the FSB, found 820 kg of cocaine in containers with bananas. According to the FCS, the total value of the substances on the Russian black market is more than 12 billion rubles.
The FCS staff learned in advance from their foreign colleagues about the intention of the South American criminal group to organize a cocaine smuggling channel to Russia.
The drugs were found under the floor of the container "in a makeshift hidden cavity" — there were 820 briquettes with a white substance.
As a result, a criminal case was opened under the article on drug smuggling on an especially large scale. The maximum penalty under this article is life imprisonment.
