OREANDA-NEWS In August, Russia significantly increased exports of barley and oats to China on a monthly basis, while significantly reducing the supply of corn and buckwheat, RIA Novosti found out after examining the statistics of Chinese customs.

Thus, the export of Russian barley to the country immediately increased by 2.32 times, to 7.56 million dollars, which is the maximum value since March of this year. Oat shipments increased 1.67 times, to $1.62 million, which was the most noticeable volume since last May.

At the same time, corn supplies decreased by 34%, to $ 8.15 million - exports of this grain crop have been declining for the third month in a row. And buckwheat "sank" by 44%, to $ 3.93 million - August shipments were the lowest since December last year.
