OREANDA-NEWS Residents of the Romanian commune of Berzunci at the annual masquerade ironically depicted the Russian military and military equipment with the letter Z, calling for violence, the police opened a criminal case, the Digi 24 TV channel reports.

"The police of the Bakau County Police Inspectorate have opened a criminal case in which they are investigating the fact that during a masquerade in the commune of Berzuntsy, several people dressed as Russian soldiers drove cars with the letter Z, imitating military equipment. The messages of the masked men incited violence," the TV channel reports.

The police began checking on the basis of the publicized videos. The footage shows that residents of the Romanian commune have turned tractors and cars into "bombers" and "armored personnel carriers" with the letters Z on the side. The organizers said they did not support Russia, but wanted to draw attention to the situation in Ukraine in this way.
