OREANDA-NEWS  By the end of September 2025, the total volume of shipments of Chinese smartphones to Russia decreased by almost half compared to the same period in 2024. RIA Novosti reports on a sharp drop in exports of this type of gadget from China to Russia, citing data from the General Customs Administration (GTU) of the Asian country.

During the reporting period, a total of 1.3 million units of such equipment were imported to Russia from China. For comparison, a year earlier shipments were estimated at 2.5 million devices. Thus, in 12 months, exports of this type of Chinese equipment decreased by 1.9 times.

In monetary terms, supplies dropped by about 1.6 times. If in September 2024 exports were estimated at $ 279.5 million, then in the first month of autumn 2025 - at $ 173.5 million. As a result, the revenues of Chinese suppliers decreased by 106 million dollars during this time.
