OREANDA-NEWS  The price per kilogram of butter in Russia in the second week of January this year decreased the most in absolute terms compared to the same period in 2025 - by almost 36 rubles, Evgenia Trautman, an expert at the ACRA group of sovereign and regional ratings, told RIA Novosti.

"In Russia, in the second week of January ... compared to the same period last year ... butter fell most noticeably among food products in absolute terms per kilogram – the reduction in price was almost 36 rubles, or almost 3%," Trautman said.

She also noted the reduction in the cost of chicken eggs and cucumbers by 25 and 23 rubles, respectively.
