OREANDA-NEWS  Turkey, South Africa, and China became the main suppliers of tangerines to Russia in the first 10 months of last year, as well as China, which rose to second place over the year, RIA Novosti calculated according to the UN Comtrade platform and open data.

So, according to statistics, Russia traditionally imported the most of these citrus fruits from Turkey - 209.7 thousand tons in January-October last year. This is 5% less than in the same period of 2024.

China broke into second place with just over 60 thousand tons of tangerines (+23% per year). South Africa rounded out the top five, from where 58.6 thousand tons of tangerines arrived in Russia (-8%), Morocco - 34.4 thousand tons (an increase of 1.8 times) and Egypt - 21.3 thousand tons (a decrease of two times).
