OREANDA-NEWS Russia has been able to restructure its foreign trade. According to RIA Novosti, the Federal Tax Service (FTS) came to this conclusion.

It turned out that in 2021, 80 percent of transactions and 70 percent of Russian trade turnover were in Western countries, but currently 80 percent of turnover and settlements are in partner countries friendly to Russia. As for the West, its share has decreased to 20 percent.

According to the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, in January-October 2025, the Russian-Chinese trade turnover fell by 9.5 percent compared to the same period last year. Trade between Russia and India decreased by 8.3 percent in the face of Western sanctions. At the same time, Russia's trade turnover with the CIS countries increased by 7 percent.
