OREANDA-NEWS Shipments of agricultural products from Russia to India are increasing, said Nadezhda Shkolkina, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy.

"Supplies of Russian agricultural products to India are increasing today. They tasted our lentils and buckwheat," Shkolkina told reporters.

She noted that the development of the BRICS Pay system is particularly relevant in this regard. This initiative within the framework of the BRICS association is designed to link the national payment infrastructures of the participating countries, including the Russian SPFS, the Chinese CIPS, the Brazilian Pix and the Indian UPI.
