OREANDA-NEWS  Igor Krasnov, Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, named the safety of investments and the availability of judicial protection among the advantages of Russian jurisdiction for foreign investors.

"Choosing a jurisdiction is always part of an investment strategy. After all, a potential investor is interested in the opportunity not only to win a dispute, but also to really ensure the safety of their investments," Krasnov emphasized in an interview with Kommersant.
 
He noted that Russian procedural legislation "provides for a full range of interim measures, including the seizure of property and the prohibition of certain actions if there are grounds established by law."

"Among other advantages, I would single out the availability of judicial protection, short time for the consideration of cases, clear and transparent mechanisms for the execution of decisions," the Chairman of the Supreme Court added.

He noted that the development of a single digital route for judicial protection allows an entrepreneur to freely receive the necessary procedural information, apply to the court, participate in the consideration of a case and monitor the execution of a judicial act.
"For a foreign participant in economic turnover, this means that geographical distance is not a procedural obstacle to protecting his rights and legitimate interests," explained the head of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.
