OREANDA-NEWS. Starting on February 18, 2017, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will increase the frequency of flights between Saint Petersburg and Amsterdam (the Netherlands), from one to two flights a day. A new daily morning service from Pulkovo to Schiphol Airport will be operated by Boeing 737 aircraft with economy and business cabins.

The second daily frequency will allow passengers to choose a convenient itinerary for their travel and provide comfortable connections in Amsterdam to flights to New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, Miami, Washington, Seattle, Toronto, Rio de Janeiro, Bogota, Havana, Mexico, Curaсao, Aruba, Quito, Guayaquil, Lima, Panama, Nairobi, Cape Town, and many others.

This winter season, KLM will additionally increase the capacity on the St. Petersburg-Amsterdam route by using larger planes for some flights.

KLM has been operating scheduled flights from Pulkovo Airport Saint Petersburg since November 1987. For the 11 months of 2016, the carrier has served some 98,000 passengers in St. Petersburg, representing a 16% year-on-year increase.
