OREANDA-NEWS  Russian automaker AvtoVAZ will install the ERA-GLONASS emergency call system for free in 41.3 thousand Lada Granta vehicles produced from September 2021 to April 2022, the company said.

AvtoVAZ continues to implement a program to retrofit Lada vehicles with control units for the ERA-GLONASS emergency call system. Starting from April 10, 2026, Lada Granta cars produced from September 2021 to April 2022 are included in the program," the report says.

It is specified that a total of 41,307 cars will fall under the program, and all work will be performed free of charge for car owners.
