OREANDA-NEWS  Bulgaria refused to investigate the incident with navigation failures on the plane of the head of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Leyen. This was announced by Bulgarian Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov, reports Deutsche Welle (recognized in Russia as a foreign media agent).

According to him, interference with GPS is not uncommon and is "one of the consequences" of military conflicts. The politician noted that there are no grounds for conducting an investigation.

"Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, we have witnessed what is called an electronic war. These interferences are not aimed at a specific aircraft," Zhelyazkov said.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump commented on the incident with the von der Leyen plane. "No one knows where it came from. She was deprived of the opportunity to use her phone. You know, sometimes it's not bad," he said.
