OREANDA-NEWS Perm Airport does not serve flights until 4:00 a.m. (2:00 a.m. Moscow time) on Tuesday due to bad weather, according to the airport's telegram channel.

On Monday, the airport stopped serving flights due to heavy snowfall and limited visibility. The first message about this appeared in the telegram channel of the air hub at noon. The airport's operating restrictions were extended several times during the day.

According to the online scoreboard, 9 flights were delayed for departure and 10 for arrival. Flight SW 575/576 (Perm - Novy Urengoy - Perm) was canceled.

A storm warning has been issued in the Perm Region. Heavy snowfall is expected in the region on Monday and Tuesday.

Restrictions have been introduced on sections of federal highways for freight traffic.

On Monday afternoon, snow covered streets and sidewalks in the city, on some sections of roads the speed of traffic did not exceed 5-20 km/ h, a snow track appeared on the roadway. Many cars skidded on turns and while driving, and some cars were driving on roads with their emergency lights on.
