OREANDA-NEWS  Russian airlines transported 30.8 million people in January-April of this year, which is 1.2% less than in the same period last year, the Federal Air Transport Agency reported.

"In the first four months of this year, domestic airlines transported 30.80 million passengers, which is comparable to the figures for the same period in 2025 (-1.2%)," the report says.

Transportation on domestic flights in January-April amounted to 22.61 million passengers. International transportation reached 8.19 million people, an increase of 1.8% compared to the same period last year, the Federal Air Transport Agency added. At the same time, the largest increase was recorded on flights between Russia and countries outside the CIS - by 3.7% (a total of 5.34 million people were transported).
