OREANDA-NEWS  By the end of October, sales of new motorcycles in Russia increased by 13 percent compared to the same period last year, to 2,355 units. In the period from January to October, the growth was 17 percent, according to the agency "Autostat".

Russians are especially fond of Chinese motorcycles, which account for 69 percent of sales. This is followed by equipment from India (7.2 percent) and Japan (6.6 percent).

Among the brands, Regulmoto remains the leader with a result of 359 units in October. Motoland remained in second place (236 units), and Voge came in third (153 units). The most popular model was the Motoland XF300 (198 units), followed by the Racer RC300 (61 units), Zontes ZT368T (49 units), Voge DS (45 units) and Regulmoto Sport (41 units).

Experts attribute the growing popularity of motorcycles to higher prices for cars, which makes them inaccessible to buyers. At the same time, against the background of another increase in the recycling fee and the cost of production in the country, price tags will inevitably continue to be rewritten upward.
