OREANDA-NEWS  Seven cars of the Chelyabinsk — Moscow passenger train derailed in the Ulyanovsk region, Russian Railways reports. There were several hundred passengers inside the train at the time of movement.

The incident occurred at 6:26 a.m. Moscow time in the area of Bryandino station. At least seven people were injured, including a child, and they were hospitalized. Previously, there were no casualties. Disaster medicine and ambulance teams have been dispatched to the site. As of 8 a.m., fire and rescue units were already working at the site. An operational headquarters for the elimination of the incident has also been established, headed by the head of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov.

The head of the region, Alexei Russian, also went to the site, promising to inform about the situation. There were 415 passengers inside the train.
