Two Russians Left Diamond Princess Liner after Quarantine in Japan
According to the Japanese Ministry of Health, the first group includes about 500 people in whom no coronavirus was detected. At the Russian Embassy in Tokyo, the Russian media were previously informed that two Russian citizens were included in the number of people leaving the ship. In general, the first group is dominated by older people.
Diamond Princess cruise ship left Yokohama on January 20 and returned on February 3. Among the passengers was a Chinese citizen, who discovered a new coronavirus and which, apparently, was the source of infection on the liner. He descended on January 25 in Hong Kong. By decision of the Japanese authorities, on the ship, where there were about 3.7 thousand passengers and crew members, a two-week quarantine was announced on February 5.
