OREANDA-NEWS. President Petro Poroshenko underscores the inadmissibility of interagency conflicts. According to him, healthy competition, civilized competition, honest competition will be welcomed by both the President and society. However, conflicts, quarrels, intrigues, and hostility are completely unacceptable, because they are only beneficial for a common enemy - crime and corruption.

“Speaking about the work of the entire law enforcement system, I cannot, unfortunately, bypass public interagency conflicts. Once again, I would say that, unfortunately, they went far beyond the limits of reasonable competition, which is needed everywhere to an extent, because competition, including among law enforcement agencies, is an engine of progress,” Petro Poroshenko said during the festivities on the occasion of the Day of Prosecutors.

“Not a single law enforcer should engage in political activities,” the President said.

The Head of State stressed that society wants war against corruption and other crimes, not war of dirty laundry. “As President, I am definitely with society. Healthy competition, civilized competition, honest competition will be welcomed by both the President and society. However, conflicts, quarrels, intrigues, and hostility are completely unacceptable, because they are only beneficial for a common enemy - crime and corruption,” he emphasized.

According to him, the state and society rely on the prosecutor's office. “In any case, you are responsible for the proper interaction of all reformed and newly established law enforcement structures. I agree with Yuriy Vitaliyovych (Lutsenko - ed.) who said yesterday that it was impossible to fight evil with illegal mehods. Only with this principle can we build a legal state,” Petro Poroshenko said.
