OREANDA-NEWS Robbers killed a Russian man on the threshold of his home in Buenos Aires while trying to resist, the Infobae portal reports, citing sources in the city police.

"Evgeny Sipatov, 40 years old, originally from Russia, a programmer also involved in the sale of cryptocurrencies, was killed by four motorcycle raiders who robbed him at his home in the Remedios de Escalada area, Lanus municipality," the report says.

According to media reports, Sipatov became a naturalized Argentine and lived in the capital of the South American country with his pregnant wife. He finished the construction of the house on the threshold of which he was killed a few weeks ago.

At the same time, it is emphasized that the police managed to identify the main suspect in the murder — this is Christian Alberto Ezequiel Mendes, who immediately after the attack tried to sell the white motorcycle of the raiders for a song, caught on surveillance cameras. The conducted searches did not help to detect the likely attacker, the operation to capture him continues.
