OREANDA-NEWS  Russian Google has paid 16.8 billion rubles in fines for American Google, said Valery Talyarovsky, the bankruptcy trustee of the subsidiary.

"On September 20 of this year, just over 16.7 billion rubles were credited to the settlement account of Google LLC, of which about 14.7 billion rubles were written off by the Federal Bailiff Service to repay writ of execution for the collection of administrative fines from Google LLC," he said at a court hearing.

According to the manager, more than 2.1 billion rubles were transferred to the FSPP itself on executive accounts in favor of Google.

In total, the bankruptcy estate received more than 18.8 billion rubles, Talyarovsky added. He clarified that the remaining amount was spent, in particular, on paying off the requirements of the Federal Tax Service for current payments and issuing more than 400 million rubles for salaries to former Google employees.

Google has been repeatedly brought to administrative responsibility for violations of Russian law, in particular for non-removal of prohibited content and non-compliance with the "law on landing".
