OREANDA-NEWS  Ottawa has expanded the list of anti-Russian sanctions. This is reported in a document published on the official website of the Canadian Foreign Ministry.

It is noted that 29 legal entities from Russia, including Severstal, Rusatom Overseas, as well as Uralsib, Zenit and Rosbank banks, fell under the new restrictive measures.

In addition, the head of the Rostec concern Radioelectronic Technologies Nikolay Kolesov, the director of the Kalashnikov concern Vladimir Lepin, the rector of the RANEPA Alexey Komissarov, as well as the commander of the 53rd anti-aircraft missile brigade Sergey Muchkaev, a suspect in the case of the crash of the Malaysian Boeing MH17, were included in the sanctions lists.

Earlier, Canada imposed sanctions against the Basmanny, Khamovnichesky and Moscow City courts, as well as against nine men and six women who are representatives of the areas of justice and security in Russia. The reason for the inclusion of Moscow courts in the sanctions list was the sentencing of Russian politicians.
