OREANDA-NEWS  Construction of a new building for the Bolshoi Moscow Circus has started in the Mnevnikovskaya floodplain in the north-west of Moscow. He writes about what is happening at the construction site MSK1.RU .

The circus will be built on the site of an overgrown wasteland between Mnevniki and Terekhovo stations on the Bolshaya Koltsevaya Line. According to the newspaper, the territory was partially cleared of trees and the earth was excavated. The site was fenced off and a large town for workers was built on it with dozens of metal containers-cabins on two or three floors. Bags of thermal insulation material were placed next to the paths, which were covered with a blue tarpaulin from the rain.

It is noted that the construction of the circus will cost 38.6 billion rubles. The building will be built on an area of 68.8 thousand square meters. The building itself, taking into account the underground part, will have an area of 62 thousand squares.

Earlier it was reported that the appearance of the new building of the Bolshoi Moscow Circus was chosen by the citizens who took part in the voting. The results were announced in March.
