OREANDA-NEWS Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky have begun negotiations. This was reported in the press service of the Turkish leader, RIA Novosti reports.

"Bilateral negotiations have begun," Ankara said.

On February 18, Zelensky arrived in Turkey on an official visit.

Earlier, Erdogan said that the Turkish side does not want to lose hope for a peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. According to the politician, Ankara sees "positive messages" from Washington and Moscow.
