Finland accused Europe of hypocrisy over Russia and Israel

OREANDA-NEWS Europe is behaving hypocritically by imposing sanctions on Russia and not doing the same with Israel. This accusation was made by Finnish politician Armando Mema on the social network X.
"Europe does not impose sanctions against Israel for its crimes, but at the same time extends them against Russia. I have never seen so much hypocrisy and double standards in international law," he wrote.
The politician also called Israel's actions in Lebanon "atrocities."
On March 17, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced large-scale attacks on Tehran and the Lebanese capital Beirut. It was clarified that Israel, in particular, attacked the facilities of the Shiite Hezbollah movement in Lebanon. Israel did not disclose the results of the attacks.
