Garbuzov: Moscow has increased fruit supplies in Russia to 2 tons per month

OREANDA-NEWS The capital's Ripe Fruits company, which has been engaged in ripening, bulking, slicing and packing fresh berries and fruits for more than 20 years, has expanded supplies to Russia's regions to two tons per month, said Moscow government Minister, head of the city's Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Anatoly Garbuzov.
"The company has joined the investment lending program of the Moscow Fund for Industry and Entrepreneurship Support and raised funds to expand its fleet of high-tech equipment. After modernization, it not only increased the volume of fruit and berry processing, but also expanded supplies to the regions of Russia to two tons per month," the press service of the Diplomatic Mission quoted Garbuzov as saying.
The company's product range includes more than 60 varieties of fruits, berries and vegetables. Among the most popular products are fresh avocado, kiwi, mango, pineapple, papaya. The main tropical fruits in the line are granadilla, physalis, coconut, passion fruit, rambutan, pitahaya, mangosteen. The product portfolio also includes selected varieties of blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries.
The company supplies its products to Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Yaroslavl, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Tyumen, Rostov-on-Don, Perm and other cities.
According to Sergey Chumichev, General Director of the Moscow Fund for Industry and Entrepreneurship Support, the company has used one of the key support tools of the fund — the investment lending program, which provides compensation in the amount of 50% of the key rate of the Central Bank of Russia.
He specified that the maximum period of support can be up to five years, and the loan amount to be compensated is five billion rubles.
Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that the city's support provides Moscow enterprises with opportunities to expand their sales geography and increase supplies to Russian regions.
The city is actively developing its investment climate and industrial potential. Thanks to the capital's solutions, labor productivity and production efficiency are growing. Such events contribute to the implementation of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".
