OREANDA-NEWS The plane on which the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, allegedly arrived in Russia landed at the capital's Vnukovo airport, RIA Novosti correspondent reports.

A private plane that landed at Vnukovo took off earlier on Thursday from Vienna, where the IAEA headquarters is located, RIA Novosti found out based on Flightradar24 data.

On Wednesday, Rosatom CEO Alexei Likhachev announced that he would meet with Grossi on Thursday. Russia-IAEA interdepartmental consultations will be held on Friday, which will be attended by representatives of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Russian Defense Ministry, Rosgvardiya and Rostechnadzor, the Director General of Rosatom added.
