OREANDA-NEWS The US Department of Homeland Security has banned Harvard from accepting international students. This was announced by the head of the department, Christie Noem, RIA Novosti reports.
"I am writing to inform you that, as of now, the accreditation of Harvard University in the Student and Exchange Visits Program has been revoked," the statement said.
But em noted that all international students should transfer to other universities in order to maintain their current status.
Earlier, the US Secretary of Education, Linda McMahon, sent a letter to Harvard informing it that the university would no longer be funded by the state. She also accused the university of systematically violating federal laws, as well as ignoring the 2023 Supreme Court decision abolishing the institution's use of racially discriminatory practices in admissions.
