OREANDA-NEWS  The right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party called on the German government to resign and hold early elections. This was stated in the official account of the party on the social network X (former Twitter).

"Two-thirds of Germans believe that Scholz is not coping. This applies not only to Scholz, but to the entire traffic light government [the popular name of the ruling coalition]. There can only be one consequence of this: resignation and immediate early elections!", the party's message reads.

The party reacted with a corresponding reaction to a poll conducted by the Forsa Institute for the Study of Public Opinion, commissioned by the N-tv channel. According to his data, only 24 percent of respondents called German Chancellor Olaf Scholz a competent politician.
